Real People Real Progress
I used to weigh 110kg.
Work stress had taken over my life. My meals were irregular, and exercise had disappeared from my routine entirely. Then came the day I got my check-up results — “severe fatty liver.” That was the moment I truly understood: my body had already been warning me, I just hadn’t been listening.
I tried a few quick-fix diets along the way, but the weight always came back faster than it left. That’s when it hit me — extreme dieting and crash weight loss might work for a while, but they never last. So I set myself a simple goal instead: not perfection, just being a little better than I was yesterday.
I started learning how to train properly, and slowly built habits I could actually sustain. There were setbacks, of course — a meal I didn’t plan for, weeks where the scale wouldn’t move — but I stopped treating those moments as failures. They became part of the process instead.
That journey took three full years.
Over those three years, 110kg became 88kg, and the fatty liver that once showed up on my scans was completely gone. But more than the numbers, what really changed was how I understood my own body — what it actually needed, and why steady, sustainable effort will always outlast any extreme, short-term fix.
Somewhere along the way, I realised what I wanted wasn’t just to become healthier myself. I wanted to help others who were standing exactly where I once stood — not knowing where to start, not sure if they could really do it.
Change doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built one day at a time.
I wasn’t born loving fitness. I was once the person who didn’t know where to begin. I simply chose to take one more step forward than I did yesterday.
If I could change, so can you.
